Paranormal Women's Fiction Review ~ Fate Interrupted by Elizabeth Hunter @EHunterWrites #PWF ~ Moonstone Cove, Book 3

She had her life all planned out; fate had other ideas.

Fate Interrupted is an all new paranormal women's fiction novel in the Moonstone Cove series from USA Today bestselling author Elizabeth Hunter

About Fate Interrupted:

How did an accomplished Southern businesswoman, wife, and mother end up living on California’s Central Coast, newly divorced, working for a stubborn winemaker, and wrestling with sudden psychic powers?

Megan Carpenter asks herself that same question nearly every day.

She’s working her way back to the business world and starting her own event-planning business, but fate keeps throwing Megan curveballs. Her ex has an unexpected new girlfriend, her telekinetic powers keep short-circuiting, and her self-control—at least when it comes to her boss, Nico Dusi—is slipping.

Thank goodness she has the two best friends in the world. With Katherine and Toni at her side, Megan is determined to keep her plans on track even when an unexpected theft at the winery threatens the new business she’s building.

When Nico asks Megan, Toni, and Katherine for help finding the thief, life in Moonstone Cove gets even more mind-bending. Experimental grape clones, industrial espionage, and bizarre bloodstains. Even for three psychic friends, this mystery may be more than they can handle on their own.

Fate Interrupted is the third book in Moonstone Cove, a paranormal women’s fiction series by USA Today bestseller Elizabeth Hunter, author of the Glimmer Lake series and the Elemental Legacy.

My Review:

Fate Interrupted is the third book in Elizabeth Hunter's Moonstone Cove series. A Paranormal Women's Fiction novel, Fate Interrupted follows the lives of three unlikely friends who cannot imagine their lives without one another. Oh, they also have psychic abilities, too. Katherine, Toni, and Megan are 40-something women, each in a different stage of their lives. These characters are closer to my age, life experiences, and lifestyle; although, I lack the supernatural capabilities.

This book focuses on Megan, though there is no shortage of Katherine or Toni. She works for Toni's cousin, Nico Dusi, as an event planner. While she navigates growing feelings for her boss, she also has 3 teenage children to focus on and one extremely needy ex-husband. When theft occurs at the winery, Nico requests the help of Moonstone's psychic trio and things really get interesting.

This book is amazing, just like the first two in the series. The characters are wonderful, relatable, and fun. The setting is great, and the world building is done so well I could picture the entire story as I read along. The mystery of the stolen vines and all that went along with it kept me on my toes. I was not expecting the plot twist near the end. I love the author's writing style. All of Elizabeth's novels reach deep within my emotional center and manage to trigger reactionary responses.
